Hi friends!
First of all, I wish to say I want to send wishes of warmth and love to you this holiday season. Our family enjoyed quite the feast for Thanksgiving. I love that the kids call it a "Thanksgiving Feast", as I don't hear it spoken like that very often. We're looking forward to Christmas. We've been terrible at getting decorations up, however, we have one Christmas tree in the basement and one upstairs. The family thinks I'm a little extreme, but I LOVE the lights!
Recently I did a family photo shoot. For some reason I was so nervous beforehand. I was scared I wouldn't take photos that were good enough. It's interesting though, once I start clicking, I feel like I'm in the zone, and it's a good feeling. In the zone I don't feel nervous or scared. I know I do my best and follow my artistic eye. Sadly, I don't often hear back from the families I worth with (it's common in the industry), but when I do, it sure feels nice! For instance, here's one I received from a recent newborn shoot. "Wow, Melissa thank you for capturing those moments for us! We are very happy with them. So precious! Thank you for your warm and comfortable energy...made it easy to relax and just be us. I'll be sure to spread the word of your good work;) "
