Hello friend!
Thank you for following me on the first portion of my journey. Seattle and the surrounding area is so lovely! My family and I spent a total of 8 years living there (over the period of two moves!) and living near Puget Sound is delightful. I do miss it, although Colorado will always feel like home because it's where my roots are.
Moving on to the second leg of my journey - Pismo Beach, CA! Oh my goodness, this place is utterly gorgeous! It has a small town feel with the ability to reach larger stores within a 15 minute drive. My hotel room opened up to and amazing view and the sound of waves crashing against rocks, which lulled me into naps quite a few times. I even had a visitor I thought was going to fly right in my room so I quickly pulled the screen door shut -- but of course I had to snap a photo first. Anyway, why did I wind up in such a pretty place? One of my closest and best friends got married! She too, is from Colorado, but chose this exquisite location. The best part was that it was on the side of a cliff, breeze blowing, sunset... she was a stunning bride with a handsome groom indeed. I had the pleasure of being her photographer while also photographing my first wedding. It was an honor to be sure!
